Cookie Policy
Effective date: 26 October 2026
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, do the same job. In this policy we call them all cookies.
Cookies we always use
These keep the site working and remember your choices. They don’t track you, so they don’t need your consent.
- Your cookie choice (calliste-consent, local storage): remembers whether you chose “Essential only” or “Accept all”. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- Our new name (calliste-rebrand-seen, local storage): remembers that you’ve seen the notice about our new name, so it isn’t shown again.
- The homepage introduction (calliste-intro-seen, session storage): plays the opening animation once per visit. Cleared when you close the tab.
- Staff sign-in (payload-token): used only when Calliste staff sign in to our back office. Visitors never receive it.
Analytics and marketing cookies
These are set only if you choose “Accept all”. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly from where, and on which devices. Google sets the cookies _ga and _ga_[ID], which last up to two years. They don’t give us your name or contact details.
Any marketing measurement we add, for example through Google Tag Manager, also loads only after “Accept all”, and we will list it here. If you choose “Essential only”, none of these cookies are set.
Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or delete and block cookies in your browser:
